There are two Wolfe Cemetaries listed in Harrison County. One is a large cemetary which
lies on the Floyd/Harrison County line. The other is a small family cemetary.
Saturday Oct. 26, 2002 I was at the Genealogy center in Corydon and found the following
information I thought you might be interested in. There is an Eli Wolfe as well as his
family buried there. Eli apparently is a brother of Aaron and Henry Wolfe. I have never
seen this Eli mentioned as a brother before. The information from the cemetery index is
as Follows:

NOTE: This cemetery is located on a farm adjacent to a farm which is now owned by the
Wiseman family who are descendants of Aaron Wolfe. In the 1850 census Eli Wolfe is shown
as living next door to Aaron. I have not so far been able to place Benjamin, Polly, or
Catherine in any of the Wolfe families that I have found. Perhaps you could shed some
light on these for me.
