Thank you Pat, for the information-and the offer. I appreciate it. I just subscribed
to Ancestry's annual plan.
I noticed that a lot of the Lawson's left Harrison county between 1920-1930.
Haven't been on the last few days to search for more because the little one has the
stomach flu.
I think the Woolford is William Woodford.
In 1870 census, Samuel has 3 additional children living with him: Amelia, Henrietta
& a different Elias.
1860 Samuel is living at home & so are these children.
Amelia age 7 born in KY
Henrietta age 5 born in KY
a different Elias age 3 born in KY
I am wondering if they are from a previous marriage, or if maybe they are his brother
Elias's kids. Can not find him at that time.
Another one of Samuel's brothers: John
In 1880, he & his wife, Cinderilla are missing. Their kids are separated from each
other & living with family. There is a John who is the only other Lawson for that
year that I can not fit in anywhere. He was born abt 1872...1880 census he is in Harrison
County living under the household of John A. Miller as a "servant". Probably is
John & Cinderilla's child. But no way to prove it yet. Just keeps on getting
interesting!
Thanks again Pat!
