Subject: [INHARRIS] Wm. RUTLEDGE b. abt 1795 TN in IN by+-1820
Hi List, I am new to this list and do hope you can help me break
down a
wall. William RUTLEDGE, my third great grandfather, was in IN about 1820.
The
1850 census in MO shows him with all children before 1846 born in IN.
Only one
child has helped more than that. My second great grandfather, Loyd Amos
Rutledge, said he was born South of Salem which seems to me to be Harrison
Co.
There is no wife shown in the 1850 census but must have been one for the
birth of
two sons in MO in 1846 and 1848. He may have married first in TN but the
spread of his children suggest he married at least twice and possibly
three
times. Has anyone access to Harrison County marriage records betweek 1820
and
1845. Any help is really appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read
this.
