In the book The Descendants of Peter Mauck 1708-1980 by William Richard
Wolph on page IIIG-90 under Frederick Mauck descendants it states:
"Catherine Ann Mauck, born June 4, 1831, in Harrison County, Indiana, and
was married in that county September 28, 1852, to Jesse E. Longbottom, born
April 10, 1831, a son of Joseph and Rebecca Wiseman Longbottom, Catherine
died June 10, 1886 and Jesse died January 5, 1894. Three children:"
This would be the sister to my ancestor Henry L. Fabrique Mauck. I am sorry
but I have no more on this line in my notes. I would suggest that you check
out the Mauck Archives at
http://mock.rootsweb.com/MOCKPG3.HTM? The ? is
part of the address but for some reason doesn't want to show it. Maybe post
a message there, it might connect you with someone who has more information
on that line than I. I will keep my eyes open.

Also mentions him in Fredrick Maucks will:

Frederick Loaded his Household goods and family on a flatboat at Pittsburgh,

settlement where the village of Mauckport is now located. Mauckport,
Indiana was established by Frederick on land which he inherited from his
father. The original plat of the town was sworn to April 17, 1827, and
recorded May 7, 1827. In 1847 the citizens of the town filed a petition to
change its name to New Market.
This Petition was granted and it remained New Market until 1850 when it
was changed back to Mauckport because of another New Market Post Office in
Indiana. Frederick operated the ferry service established by his father on
the Ohio River between Kentucky and Harrison County, Indiana, operating for

Subject: [INHARRIS] Longbottom
- Harrison County, IN. I am searching for someone who knows if
Appelonia
Longbottom's parents were Joseph Longbottom, Jr. and Rebecca Wiseman.
Joseph
born in Wilkes County, NC abt. 1795 and Rebecca born in Moorfield,
Hardy
County, VA about 1798. Both parents died in Harrison County around 1843
and
1848. Appelonia Longbottom married Valentine Shireman on November
14,
1854
in Harrison County and her age was proven by Jesse Longbottom. Would
this
be
a brother? I have been unable to find any documentation as to who
were
Appelonia's parents. Any information will be appreciated.
