Arkely and Kathy,
Would you happen to know of the address of the National Archives. And is there a
special form that needs to be fill out for this information.
You mention they was arranged by Congressional District as of 1863. I know
where my person was living in 1863. But I don't know how about finding out the
Congressional District. And what about before 1863. Didn't they sign up in 1861
for the Civil War.

Many men were rejected from Civil War Service because of Illness or injury.
Medical Records of drafted and rejected men are in the National Archives,
group #110. They are arranged by Congressional District as of 1863. Data
may include residence, oppucation, age, place of birth, phssical
characteristics or reason for rejection under remarks.
