I believe all Jahn's from Harrison County are related. I have Hartman Jahn and wife
Anna Maria aka Maria. Children: Josephine abt 1842, Joseph abt 1848, John 1847(died abt
1849?), Conrad 1850, Bernard 1854 and Froney(?) abt 1855-died abt 1858
They moved from Louisville to Taylor twp, Harrison Co. about 1854-55. It's believed
Hartman and the two young children were burried at the old St. Peters Cemetery which was
destroyed(The one stone that says Jahn Hartman d Nove 28 I believe was him I would like a
picture of that someday) They are not listed in any other known cemetery. I Believe
Hartman Jahn died sortly before the 1870 census, possibly 1868 or 1869.
Conrad married twice both wifes from Floyd Co., they are burried their at St. Mary of the
Knobs Catholic Church. His two children from 1st marriage were in Lafayette, Floyd Co. in
1900 living with Catharine Coleman their grandmother (Joseph & Catharine Jahn) ages
Catharine 3 and Joseph 1
Thanks
June
