Hancock Co. IN surely does have a history of being someplace grand. My dad
and mother, Wm Earl Ballenger and Ethel Marie Burton had close relitives born
and raised in Hancock Co. Daddy was born in Maxwell 1907. Me I was born and
raised in Henry Co. with rellitives in Hancock Co. My grandpa Foy Earl
Ballenger was born in Hancock Co. I am finding I have deeper roots that I ever
dreamed of having in IN. Took family history research to unearth it so far. This
is a read down memory lane for me as I remember many of these things
mentioned in this article. Daddy loved music and sang many of the songs listed in
this site.
I hope list members enjoy this as I did reading this.......Beej--Fireflower
