Message to Stan: . I would suggest going to the courthouse to search for a
will; also a land record which is on the same floor that the will and probate
records are kept. I have found much info through these sources.

In May of this year, I hope to be traveling to the Hancock County
area
to do some research on my WOLF(E) family roots in and around Hancock
County. Can you please advise me how I could best use my time while
there (a couple of days) to find records that might tell me more about
my gr-gr-grandparents--David WOLF, b. about 1816, and Lydia WILSON, b.
about 1821-and gr-grandfather, Joseph WOLF, b. April 10, 1840 in Hancock
County and his wife, Charlotte Jane GORDON, b. March 11, 1843, also in
Hancock County.
I'd greatly appreciate any guidance you may be able to give me so that I
can optimize my time there.
Thanx
