You may want to try some of the Hancock county histories. I know that the
WPA did an index in the 1930s of persons, which the LDS probably has
available. You can look up the minister's name to see if he is listed in any
of the indexed histories, and then find the pages in the histories. I've
noticed that they tend to have information about local church congregations,
and often list the ministers of those congregations. Good luck, Elizabeth

Warren Cross and Calista Miller were married 5 January 1853 in Hancock
County, Indiana by G. P. Jenkins, a Minister.
Varner Davis and Mary Miller were married on 2 November 1854 in Hancock
County, Indiana by Mathew Mitchel, a Minister.
John H. Scott and Minerva Miller were married on 16 November 1854 in
Hancock County, Indiana by Mathew Mitchel.
I think that Calista, Mary and Minerva Miller were sisters and that their
parents were Benjamin and Susannah Miller, but haven't been able to prove
it yet. Benjamin and Susannah Miller were charter members of the Gilboa
Methodist Church in Blue River Township.
Does anyone know how I can find out what denomination these ministers were
(I suspect Methodist) and with what congregation they were connected?
