Not related, just trying to help. I believe William was the son of Arthur Haussin and
Mary A Mathis who married in Martin county on 7 May 1901, source is book 6, page 443. In
the supplemental information bookd 15, page 11, Arthur listed his father as Constamp and
mother as Mary, he was 28. On the same page Mary listed her father as Geo and mother as
Malinda, she was 18. We might question these ages after looking at the 1930 census. In
1910 the family was in Greene county, Stockton township, Dist 41, page 81A, and was headed
by Arthur, 36, married one time for 9 years, a farmer doing general farming, born in
France as were both parents, immigrated in 1881, and included his wife Mary, 26 also
married 1 time for 9 years, mother of 4 all still living, born in Ind as were both
parents, - his daughter Ilene, 8, Ind, - his daughter Saline (Scalena in the 1930 census),
6, Ind, - his daughter Laura, 3, Ind, and his son William, 7/12, Ind. In the 1920 census
the family was in the!
same township, Dist 81, page 1A, and again was headed by Arthur, 46, coal miner, born in
France as were both parents, and included his wife Mary, 36, born in Ind as were both
parents, - his daughter Aleen, 18, Ind, - his daughter Saline, 15, Ind, - his daughter
Laura, 12, Ind, - his son William, 10, Ind, and his son Oscar, 7, Ind. In the 1930 census
the family was in the same township, Dist 21, page 13B, and was again headed by Arthur,
56, first married at 26, a farmer doing general farming, born in France as were both
parents, and included his wife Mary A, 46, first married at 16, born in Ind as were both
parents, - his son Oscar K, 17, Ind and his daughter Ernestine, 10, Ind. Scalena was
living with her maried sister Ilene. Hope this helps. Don
