[Transcribed on January 29, 2008 by RLJ from microfilm of the original newspaper on file
in the Bloomfield-Eastern Greene County Public Library.]
Death called another pioneer when it summoned Isaac INMAN, last Monday night, after a long
illness. He was aged seventy-four years and had lived here for many years. He was a
native of Martin County. He had been a jeweler and watch-maker, and was also a lover of
fine horses. He always owned a good horse, and for many years entered his horses in the
county fair circuits. He is survived by his wife and two daughters, Miss Bonnie INMAN, at
home, and Mrs. Marie JONES, of Chicago. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at
the family home, conducted by the Rev. E. F. ALDRICH. Interment in Grand View Cemetery.
