Inman Found Dead At Home of Mrs. Sam Graham Last Saturday Afternoon." [Transcribed on

James INMAN died suddenly Saturday at the home of Mrs. Samuel GRAHAM on Indiana Avenue,
where he had roomed for several weeks. He was found Saturday afternoon at five
o'clock and it is not known how long he had been dead.
He was seventy-five years of age at the time of his death. He was born in Martin County,
and was an old resident of Taylor Township.
He was married to Miss Virge DAUGHERTY, who preceded him in death six years ago. They had
a child who died.
The only surviving relative of his immediate family is a brother, Eph INMAN of
Indianapolis.
In 1926, Mr. INMAN was a candidate for the nomination of sheriff on the Democratic ticket,
and came within a few votes of the nomination in a field of several candidates.
Mr. INMAN had resided in Greene County for many years and he was well and favorably
known.
Funeral services for James INMAN were held Monday morning at the Kentucky Ridge Church,
which is located four miles south {west} of Owensburg. The Rev. Logan HATFIELD officiated
at the services. Interment in Kentucky Ridge Cemetery.
