Not related, just trying to help. I am highly skeptical of the story about Cora being
adopted or being a Crow Indian. Hiram Ooley married Nancy A Jones in Greene county on 4
Feb 1875, source is book J, page 453. In the 1880 census for Greene county, Beech Creek
township, Hiram Ooley , 30, a farmer, with his wife Nancy A, 24, keeping house, his
daughter Cora, 3, and son Francis, 8/12, all born in Indiana as were their parents. The
1880 census was the first to indentify a person as an Indian and Cora is identified as
white. Don
