Mrs. Hettie Molden Dies in Kansas.
Relatives here have received word of the death of Hettie (TURLEY) MOULDEN. Mrs. MOULDEN
was born near Bloomfield April 4, 1865, and died at Wichita, Kansas, December 17, 1937, at
the age of seventy-two years.
Mrs. MOULDEN was reared in this community and was a member of the Presbyterian church of
Bloomfield. She was married to Henry MOULDEN in 1883, and they were the parents of five
children. In 1898 the family moved to Bancroft, Kansas, wherre Mr. and Mrs. MOULDEN lived
untils his death in 1932. She later made her home with her sons and with Miss F. D.
STEELE, of Wichita, Kansas, where she passed away.
Surviving sons are Lovell, of Goff, Kansas; Ivan of Clarksdale, Missouri; Orval of
Soldier, Kansas, and Ernest, of Shafter, California; also four sisters, Mrs. Alice
ROGSTON, of Long Beach, California; Mrs. Lydia MOORE, Kansas City; Mrs. Lula SWARNES,
Wichita, Kansas; Mrs. Annis JACKSON, Indianapolis; a brother, William TURLEY, and a
half-brother, Leonard TURLEY, of Bloomfield. R. F. PATTERSON, of Bloomfield, is a
brother-in-law.
