Hi
What are the odds? Both my husband & ex husband had family in Greene County.
My husbands great grandparents were: CURTIS STOUGH & LETTIE (ARNOLD) STOUGH.
CURTIS was born in 1886. He died in 1980, Worthington I believe. LETTIE, don't
have any dates on her yet. I do know her father was WILLIAM S. ARNOLD. I don't
have a wife for him yet. FRANK & MAGGIE (HARTLEY) STOUGH were the parents of
CURTIS. The children of FRANK & MAGGIE (HARTLEY) STOUGH were: CURTIS (my
husbands ggrandfather), CLYDE, MAX & HATTIE. Thats about all I know about
them.
My ex husband was a BYNUM. His gggrandfather came from North Carolina in the
early 1800's. His name was WILLIAM BYNUM. He was born in 1775. He died in
1855. His first wife was MARGARET WENTZ. His second wife was REBECCA PATTERSON
- HENSHAW. He married REBECCA in 1836.
The children of WILLIAM & MARGARET (WENTZ) BYNUM were:
Susanna Bynum - m. Joseph Hepner
Samuel Bynum - m. Linderella / Cinderilla Lester
William Bynum - died young
Sophia " - m. James O'Neall
John " - m. Rebecca O'Neall
Daniel " - m. Mary Hinds
James " - m. Julia Smeltzer
2nd Marriage -- WILLIAM & REBECCA (PATTERSON- HENSHAW) BYNUM
Lewis Bynum - m. Paulina Clark
Lawson " - m. Eliza Grove
Mary " - m. Jacob Grove
Isaac " - m. Mary McCall
Henry - " - m. Arda Lanning
All children from the second marriage were born in Greene County.
Have some info- birthdates, marriage dates etc.
Since my kids are Bynums I figure I should still work on this for them.
Soooooo, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Terri (in Michigan)
