I attempted to transcribe a copy of a probate page received from Green Co.,
IN. It was very difficult to read. Please let me know if you may have a

Best remembered that on the third day of March 1838, on the
application of Maddison Wilks administration of all and [_____] the goods
and [chattel] rights credits money and effects which were of Samuel Wilks
late of said County deceased is granted unto him.
Whereupon the said Madison entered into and acknowledged the bond
following herein with Richard Wright and Alexander [C.] Poe his securities
in the sum of three hundred dollars conditioned for the faithful discharge
of his duties as such administrator according to law.
Know all men by these presents that we Madison Wilks, Richard
Wright and Alexander [C.] Poe of Greene County, Indiana are [_____] and
firmly bound unto the State of Indiana [_____] in the sum of three hundred
dollars to the [_____] amount of which will and truly to be made and [_____]
we bind ourselves, our heirs, [_____]
The [_____] of the above [_____] [heir] is such that if the above
bound Madison Wilks will truly and faithfully perform the duties and trust
committed to him as administrator of the estate of Samuel Wilks deceased
according to late then the above obligation is to be void and of none effect
