Deb,
I notice that you are researching several Greene Co. names as am I. I'm
especially interested in MOORE as I have a lead that the mother of Cynthia
A. HAGGARD b. 1833 KY may have been a MOORE, but that is all I know of her
parents except that they, too, were born in KY. Other names I research in
Greene County are TINDER, BURCH, RITTER, FRAZIER, BURCHAM, and CHRISTY. Co
you see any connections?
Hi, I am new to the list. I have been searching for some time now
for
WILLIAMSON DUNN ALEXANDER, and his wife ELIZABETH SHIRLEY. Williamson was
born in Kentucky in 1815 to Dr. William Alexander and Martha Long Dunn,
both were from Greene County since the 1840's, til their deaths .
Williamson was married to Elizabeth in 1836 in Greene County. I have them
in the census for 1840 for Monroe County. Then I lost them. They had
three children that I do know about. William, who married his cousin Sarah
Phillips. Mary , who married Joesph T. Oliphant, and Martha who was married
three times, and the last time she married William Adams. I have all the
Alexander, Brewster, Dunn, Shirley and Taylor histories before Williamson
and Elizabeth, and I have all the family histories after Williamson and
Elizabeth, but I have nothing on them. Any help or clues would be greatly
appreciated. Thank you. Deb
