John WILLEY, age about seventy-six years, died at the COMBS House early Monday morning,
following an illness of about three weeks.
He had been a resident of Bloomfield for many years, but for the past several years he had
been making his home at the Soldiers’ home. He had been here for several weeks, rooming
at the Combs house and visiting old friends.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Juanita PEASE, of Crete, Illinois, Mrs. Edith
JACOBS, of Terre Haute, and another, who resides at Bloomington. He is also survived by
two sons, Charles and Lee WILLEY, of Indianapolis.
The funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at the undertaking establishment of
George E. KIDD, conducted by Elder T. A. COX. Interment in Grand View Cemetery.
