THE BLOOMFIELD NEWS, Bloomfield, Greene County, Indiana, Friday, March 11, 1887, Volume
XI, Number 13, Page 5, Column 3.
Mrs. G. W. OSBON died at her home on Thursday morning at 4:08 of cancer. She was born in
Bloomfield, May 7, 1833 and has resided here all her life. Her husband and six children
survive her and they with many friends mourn her death. The bereaved family have the
sympathy of the entire community. The funeral will take place today at 3 o’clock.

(3) monument for her grandmother, Mary (LEMON) HICKS and in memory of her grandfather,
Rev. Arthur HICKS. All monuments were located in Grandview Cemetery, Bloomfield, Greene
County, Indiana.
