As you probably know several years ago the LDS came into Bloomfield and
filmed most of the files in the court house. I was in the RV business at
the time and sold a motor home to a couple from Sparks UT who was working
for the church (for no pay) and they told me their present job was the
court house records in GREENE CO. I remember going through the old
probate boxes and finding the papers on my gggrandfather and then many
years later I wanted to check on another person of the same era and found
the boxes no longer on the shelves. I was told the LDS had filmed all
the records and the boxes were either stored in an attic area or were
destroyed.
