James B. DILLON, Switz City, died at the Freeman hospital about midnight Saturday night,
October 17, from injuries sustained at Linton Saturday night, October 10, when he
attempted to crank his car and it ran over him, breaking some ribs and injuring him
internally.
He was fifty-seven years of age, and was born and reared in Martin County, but for a
quarter of a century has been a resident of Switz City.
He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Miss Doris, at home; Mrs. Howard D. NYE,
Cincinnati, Ohio; Mrs. Henry DYKHELSON, Haddonfield, N. J.; three brothers, Owen DILLON,
highland Township, Charles DILLON, Freedom, and Lee DILLON, Bloomington.
Funeral services were held from the Switz City M. E. church, Monday afternoon at 2:30
o’clock. Interment in the Switz City Cemetery.

Janie DILLON; Father was George DILLON, born IN; Mother was Sarah CHATTIN, born Indiana.
(2) James B. DILLON’s parents, George W. DILLON and Sarah E. CHATTEN were married in
Martin County, Indiana 17 Sep 1873, Book 3, Page 233.
