Christine,
A first possiblity, if you have not done this already, is to search the
RootsWeb/Ancestry Greene County message board
http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec?htx=board&r=rw&p=localities.nor...
ates.indiana.counties.greene&maxrows=25&dir=next to see if an obituary for
the person you are interested in has been transcribed & posted.
Beyond that, there are microfilms of older Greene County newspapers. The
Bloomfield-Eastern Greene County Library has The Bloomfield News on
microfilm 1888-1983.

Also, the Indiana State Library has a number of Greene County newspapers on
microfilm
http://www.statelib.lib.in.us/www/isl/indiana/newspaper/green.html
These films are generally available for you to borrow through the
Inter-Library Loan system, assuming your local library is part of this
system.

Does anyone know if there were newspaper obituaries in 1922?
And if so how could I find one for a person in Linton, Greene county IN??
Thanks, Christine
