Hi. Yes, I do remember, but I don't think I have learned anymore since we
corresponded. I know from a letter Sophia wrote to a niece that Thomas died in 1898 in
Sullivan Co. IN. Lucy was still alive at the time, but paralyzed and not well.
Also a notation of an Albert B. Turner marrying Catherine Gilson Dec 20, 1860 in Gallia
Co. OH. Also in the info from 1860 Sullivan Co. IN census, enumerated in the family
of Thomas and Lucy, is James Gilson 16, hired hand, B. IN .The writer of this info says
this, "Whose son is James? maybe John? Surely he is a nephew of Lucy's",
This is all I have on any Gilson. I can keep my eye open in case anything is
uncovered later. Sophia Turner married twice. First to my Ggrandfather Ansel, and then
Ansel's brother Wilson. The Wilson side may have more info. Best Wishes, Dana
