The body of Aden MANSFIELD, aged sixty-six{?} years, arrived here last Thursday night from
Milwaukee, where he had died in a hospital on January 20, following injuries received in
an automobile accident.
He formerly resided near Robison, but some eighteen years ago he disappeared from his home
and had not been hear from until his brother, Oscar MANSFIELD, of Lyons, received a
message from the hospital at Milwaukee, notifying him of the death.
One peculiar incident in the life of the deceased was that about ten years after his
disappearance, in order to administer his estate relatives had court proceedings declaring
him legally dead.
The body at in state at the undertaking establishment of George E. KIDD Thursday nigh, and
on Friday afternoon the remains were taken to the Ashcraft Chapel, where funeral services
and interment occurred.
He is survived by two brothers, Oscar MANSFIELD, of Lyons; John MANSFIELD, of Sullivan,
and one sister, Mrs. Charles BARLEY, of St. Bernice, and several nieces and nephews.
Charles MANSFIELD, of this place, is a nephew.
