Alfred HAYWOOD, aged sixty-seven years, one of Linton’s well known and respected citizens,
who has been sick for the past four months, passed to his final reward Tuesday evening at
6 o’clock.
Mr. HAYWOOD moved from Taylor Township to Nine Mile, where he resided for eleven years,
then moved to Linton, where he had been living the past four years, and has made a host of
friends.
Mr. HAYWOOD was a loving father, a dutiful husband and a kind an loving neighbor and was
loved by all who came in contact with him.
He leaves a wife and three children, Frank M. HAYWOOD and Mrs. Charles LETSINGER, of this
place, and Mrs. Don FOSTER, of Washington Township, besides a host of relatives and
friends to mourn their loss.
The funeral services were held Thursday morning at 10 o’clock at the family residence.
The remains were interred in the Fairview Cemetery.—Linton Call.
