LXV, Number 21, Page 4, Column 1, “Funeral Services Held For Hubbard M. DOWDEN.”

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Antioch Church for Hubbard M. DOWDEN,
75 years old, who died at 11 o’clock Sunday morning at Evansville. Rev. J. K. COLE,
pastor of the Wesleyan Methodist Church at Bloomfield officiated.
He is survived by four sons, Emerson DOWDEN, of Chicago; Ira DOWDEN, of Terre Haute; Ora
and Raymond DOWDEN, both of near Bloomfield; two daughters, Mrs. Cora SCHIEVE, of Chicago;
Mrs. Rosa EASTER, of Staunton, Indiana; and one sister, Mrs. Thomas BOGARD, of Taylor
Township.
The Kidd Undertaking Company was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
