Looks to me like both David and Catherine BROCK either died or were divorced
from their respective spouses -- the spouses (or widow/widower) then
married.

Thanks for your help! You know what's odd(coincidental?) about the Mary
L.Skinner marrying William J. Bland in 1858?The Indiana State Library
Database for early Indiana marriages has the following:David Brock -Mary
L.Skinner 04Dec 1851 Greene,IN; Catherine Brock - William Bland
04Jul1849,Greene,IN.My purpose in putting these marriages on the message
board had been to try to sort out which Brocks were in my line and eliminate
the ones that weren't but so far it justs keeps getting more confusing! But
thanks for your help and the census!Good luck in your research .I like your
website! Teri
