Funeral services for Mrs. Desia{sic} EDINGTON, wife of the late Frank EDINGTON, were held
Sunday afternoon at the Ashcraft Chapel. Mrs. EDINGTON passed away at the home of her
son, Dodd EDINGTON, Bedford, last Thursday.
Mrs. EDINGTON was ninety three years old at the time of her death and had lived in Jackson
Township almost her entire life.
Mrs. EDINGTON is survived by five children: Dodd, of Bedford; Charles, of Florida; Mrs.
Randal INMAN, Owensburg; Mrs. Georgia HERT, Terre Haute; and Mrs. Gerdia BRANDON, of
Jackson Township. Her husband and a son, Melvin, preceded her in death.
Burial was in the Ashcraft Cemetery with Everet LEHMAN & Son in charge. The Rev.
Logan HATFIELD conducted the services. Those attending the funeral from Bloomfield were:
Mrs. Charles COMBS, Mrs. Stella WRIGHT, Mrs. Margaret BRANDON and Mr. and Mrs. E. K.
ASHCRAFT.
