Found a site with lots of pictures and some ramblings from a local yocal. As you can
tell, I liked the pictures better than one persons trip down their own personal memory
lane. If you had family in the Lyons/Marco area from mostly the 1950's to 60's,
this is one place you will want to check out. The article of an interview with the
Pickards was much fun and gave great real insight into what the area was like early in the
1900's. We lost Miriam and her husband since the article was written but they were
both in their late 90's before they gave it up. Neat people. She taught myself and
my brother in Freshman Biology. Thank goodness she had him first and really liked him.
We both got really good grades in her class. Just ten years apart. haha. I not only found
my own picture but my brother, Mom, Dad and one of my uncles. Here is the link:
