Hi Greene County...
I need to see if I can get some info.. Is it possible to get someone to
copy the probate Index files for any Andersons from about 1850 to 1860. I
am looking for anything on my GGrandfather Martin Anderson, born about 1824.
He is listed in the 1850 Greene County census with his family and then in
1854 she remarried and Martin is nowhere to be found after that. So I
thought there might be a probate record.
Naturally, I will be happy to pay any cost incurred...
Thanks,
Paul Anderson

I recently put my family data online at RootsWeb WorldConnect. The primary
Greene County surnames included are: Wright, Mullis, Mays, Hardesty,
Mansfield, Haywood, Ashcraft, with a number of other secondary [to me]
surnames. In general, these families came into the Jackson & Taylor
Township area in the 1845-1855 time period.
The database is titled: "Jacobs/Wright/Gasko/Vanek" and the link is:

As always, I am very willing to trade info, provide sources, make
corrections, look for connections, etc., etc.
