A fairly comprehensive record of Cemeteries in Western Greene County is contained in a 3 volume set with that name compiled by Loraine E. Kraus. Stafford Township is covered in Vol. II. You may be able to find a copy in a library near you or perhaps someone in Greene County could look it up for you.

Hello, I'm looking for a grave, burial site or death record of my paternal GGG-grandmother, Malinda Myers, who I believed to have died in Stafford Township, Greene County, Indiana sometime between 1881-1883.
Malinda was born in North Carolina in 1830 and lived most of her life in Morgan County, Indiana, where her children were born. Following the death of her husband, Abraham, in 1863 and sometime before 1870, Malinda left Abraham's family in Morgan County and took her children to Knox County in time for the 1870 census. Sometime in the next ten years she and the children left the area and moved to Stafford Township, Greene County and is present in the following 1880 census.
http://search.ancestry.com/iexec?htx=View&r=an&dbid=6742&iid=4240592-0013... (The spelling 'Mires' in this record is a census worker error, the family name had been 'Myers' for several decades)
I presume that she died in Greene County, before 1884, as her children returned without her to Morgan County and her eldest child, Abel, is married in Morgan County, in 1884.
Her grave isn't listed on findagrave.com, and I've scoured each of the individual Myers grave records for Greene County. Since findagrave.com won't allow searches by first name alone, it is possible that she remarried and is listed under another name.
Is anyone familiar with this Greene County resident, perhaps seen a grave with her name or any Malinda born in 1830? Does anyone have a link to cemetery records for Greene County that might be more complete than findagrave.com, or aware of any cemeteries not listed on the aforementioned site?
Thank you for your time.

Hi Holly - If I remember correctly, we talked about the Stanley family history a few years ago in Kansas. Unfortunately, I haven't done any genealogy since then but I'm hoping to get started again now. I have pretty complete information on the Stanley line since the John Stanley born in 1808/1809 but I have not been able to trace his ancestry. His birthplace is given in several different states in various records but no firm information; Ohio is quite possible but so is Tennessee. I can trace Mary Ball's ancestry back several generations to a Zopher Ball of which, strangely, there were several of in those days. I have virtually complete information with pictures on the Stanley Cemetery in Greene County, IN. If you'd like to visit it sometimes, let me know. I need to get back there myself some time soon.
I hope to be able to put my entire Stanley family history on the Internet some time in the next year. In the meantime, if you would like any specific information, let me know. Shirley Detter has a copy of most of my information if that's convenient for you.
Bill Stanley

Hi,
I'm very new at this. My line follows yours exactly. I got lost when I noticed that John Stanley is listed as being born in Tennessee and Ohio, but in different years 1808 or 1809. I tend to think Ohio is more accurate because that is where Mary Ball was born. I also believe that his father was a John, but there are a lot of John Stanleys, with no middle initial around this time, so it becomes almost impossible to trace. You say you have family records, I would love to know what they are. My father was Eugene Lowell Stanley 5Jun1923, his was Fred Lowell Stanley born 1895. Thanks for any help you can give me. I would like to visit the cemetary in Greene County, but I don't know where it is. Sincerely, Holly Stanley

Thanks for the info! I hadn't realized that I had his death date off by a year, even though I have a picture of his tombstone.
Happy searching!

Hello,
I have a John R. Corbin in my records and believe it's the same John as yours. My information is John R. Corbin, b. 28 November 1870, d. 16 August 1956, married Agnes Daubenspeck (b. 22 October 1871, d. 18 October 1939) on 1 August 1894 in Greene County. This John Corbin's mother was Lucinda Hatfield, daughter of Armstead and Mary (Polly) Richardson Hatfield.
This family is a collateral line of my husband's Hatfield family line.

My Great-grandfather was Reverend Perry S Neldon. He was born in Feb of 1883 somewhere in Ohio. I do know that sometime in the early 1900's, he was a Methodist Minister in Coshocton. He was married to Bessie (Flemming) Neldon and they had 4 children. My grandmother Nellie, Charles Perry, Virgil and Russell Neldon. I am thinking that Jacob Neldon is from this line too. Do any of my names sound familiar to you?
Thanks,
Jennifer Ticktin
