I have found that Sarah Shreve born abt 1812 Brown Co. Ohio married George Washington Hatfield 20 June 1833 Brown Co Ohio and subsequently moved to Ripley Co Indiana by 1840 where her parents lived, and by 1850 was residing in Jefferson Co Indiana. I haven't located them in 1860, but by 1870 they have moved to Greene Co and living on Beech Creek. George died 27 Oct 1873 and is buried in the Worthington Cemetery.
After his death it appears that Sarah has married Samuel Graham b 1807 d 1888 as his 2nd wife, previously married to Mary Polly Kilgore.
I can't seem to find when Sarah died or if she is buried with Samuel Graham in the Owensburg cemetery or perhaps with George in Worthington.
One of George and Sarah's son's John Calvin Hatfield is buried with a civil war military marker in Worthington Cemetery Co H 5th Ind Cav.
Sarah Shreve is the daughter of Jonathan Shreve and Mary Polly Butt/Butts who lived in Ripley Co. Indiana after their trek from Pennsylvania through Brown Co Ohio.

I have marriage record for Margaret Jane Utterback who married Harrison Nelson McClain in Coshocton, Ohio. They had 2 children only; Howard Orville, William Daily from Coshocton they moved in 1900 to chagrin falls, cuyahoga ohio, where they can be found on censes. After the 1900 census we hit a break wall for both Margaret and Harrison they seem to disappear from the census in 1910. Jennie, either died there in chagrin falls, cuyahoga ohio? Or on her way to Montana where her boys can be traced in 1910 both married and living with their wives. Harrison can not be traced either in 1910, so my question is what happen to this couple in 1910. Did she died in Ohio? or Montana. Harrison can be traced later in 1920 in Washington, Howard is in Montana, William moved to Washington with his father in 1918. So does anyone know where Margaret Jennie McClain died? Where and How?

There is a cementary south of Linton about halfway between it and Sandburn on the left going south. Been many years since I have been down this road but I dont recall any other but this one.
Could someone please tell me its name and if its listing is online.
Thanks

It should give that info. I don't think I've ever seen a death record that didn't. Parents' names should be on there too, if the informant knew that information. Those would be more of a gamble about whether it will be on the record than where he was buried. I wish I could've found Cynthia for you, though.

Hello! I just saw your post and looked through all the cemetery listings for Greene County but didn't find either David or Cynthia Hill. I did find a David Hill listed in the Greene County Deaths Index that seems to fit man you're searching for. Here is the info:
David Hill d. 31 August 1882 aged 79 years Bk OD-1, Pg 35
Hope this helps!

Thank you for your response, Don. Lou is not his actual mother. I'm not sure if there are any documents that exist with his real mother's name, so I thought I would ask here. Thank you for your help!

Not related. My guess would be Lauetta McKain who married William T Haines in Greene county on 13 Sep 1885, source is book M, page 60. She can be found in the 1880 census at home with her family in Greene county, Taylor township, Dist 308, page 3, where her name is spelled Lewetta. Hope this helps. Don
