She found him in the index but I don't have access to HeritageQuest and for some reason the 1870 Greene,IN isn't on Ancestry. So I still don't have the information I was after

He is on image 32 of 50 at ancestry.com for Jackson, Greene Co., IN
It is an error in the index used at ancestry.com; however, on image 32, you will find him and his family listed.
Just do a search for Newell Brook.

Teri,
Mary Skinner was the sister to my GGrandfather David J. Skinner. But I have very little information on David Brock, as he was Mary's first husband I believe, before she married Wm. Bland.
I just looked at the 1870 census from Heritage Quest and Ancestry and I couldn't find him listed on either census?? According to the census there was no Brock in Greene Co. listed for that year?? But like I said, that census was so very hard to read, that he could have been there and it just might not have been ledgable. Sorry.
