I posted once before on this subject, but want to make contact again. My family records have a Susan Ellen Casey b. Oct. 28, 1844 in Athens TN -parents were Dempsey and Dicy Martin Casey who migrated to Raglesville IN in 1850-51 .The family is listed in Greene Co. IN in the 1850 census.
All our Casey records have Susan Ellen Casey married to this Daniel Neidigh. If you could contact me , I would like to clear this out of our records if it is incorrect. I have read this biography and it states Ellen Casey b. Kentucky. Do you have any other data on this person or data to help me?Thanks.

Martha,
Do you know if this is John Lindsay Purcell who was born in Virgina and was the son of Quinton Purcell & Sarah Prater? If so then his children were: Mary Magdaline, Clay married Fannie Allen, Columbus married Nanny Lykins, Miles, James, Pauline married Clarence Arnett and George.
Miles and George were twins. These Purcells moved to Kentucky. Columbus moved to Ohio and at this time not sure where the others went if they did. I would have to check the 1850 Morgan County, Kentucy census.

She was also married to William Ellis in 1907. It appears that both of her marriages (Marion Thomas, Wm Ellis) ended in divorce, as both appear in later census married to other people.
Hi everyone,
This message is going to all my lists. If you receive it more than
once, then please, just delete your extra copies.
I've received so, so many messages wanting to know what happened to me
that I figured I'd better let you all know. My system crashed again ~
twice! After three times in a month, it's been rebuild, rebuild,
rebuild. I'm back online since last night and I have to say, I'm glad
it's finished (I hope!). Fortunately, I had a lot of my data backed up
so all these crashes didn't cause a total loss.
As a result of being offline for so long, I'm now horribly behind in
answering email. I'll respond to those of you who are awaiting replies
just as soon as I can. The earliest messages will be answered first.
If you're on a list that receives the Sunday Morning Coffee, then yes, I
will join you for Coffee tomorrow.
Hmmm, anything else?
I hope you're all having a SUPER, SUPER Saturday!... Sunday, if you're
down under! :)
Colleen

Okay it is now becoming clear. NOT. My ggrandmother was born Nov 15, 1875. She married Marion Floyd THOMAS. After they were divorced, she married John ANDERSON. She out lived both men. She had a brother named Charles D PATE. I don't have any hard copy records of her divorce or marriage but I do have an original newspaper clipping of her death notice.
