LDS has put up the 1880 census with an every name search. It's a little
tricky trying to source it since they do not provide ED and page number.
However, you do get to look at the transcribed listing for the household and
the page number they provide is the number listed on the upper right of the
census sheet, so you can track it down.
http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/default.asp
It's very busy right now since everyone is trying it and making the server a
bit slow, but it has been worth it for me since a lot of the people I am
looking for are in the 1880 census, but do not have a child under the age of
10.
Good hunting

Andrea, Saw your query dated 1999 re: Walter FUNSTON and Margaret JUSTICE(JUSTUS). I received a marriage license today showing a Margaret JUSTUS and Walter FUNSTON marrying January 1890. My interest in this marriage is this: my great grandfather David M. JUSTUS was married to a Margaret CASPAR. However, he had a second marriage in 1900 to a MINKS. All resided in Greene County, IN. My question is this: is the Margaret that married Walter the same as the one that married David? Would like to communicate with you if you have more information than I have, or at least we could share what we have. Hope to hear from your soon.

Is there a Cemetery associated with the old Vernal Baptist Church? If so,
does anyone have access to this information? I'm looking for info on :
Joseph b. ca1780 and Susanna ARTHUR [ they were mar 1804 Knox Co.KY] who were
instrumental in the formation of the Church........wondering if they are
buried there? Information from others has it that they were in Monroe Co. IN
by 1817 and then moved on to Greene Co.IN by the early 1820's. I have yet
to find a census or Tax record of them in either county. Any information
would be welcome.
thanks,

Looking for information on family tree. I am new at this and have hit a
block on getting information re: Elmer Hoops or any
background regarding same. My information shows he lived in Greene County
in the city of Linton, IN. He was 31 y.o. when he died on 11 June, 1909. He
was married to Hessie Clayton on 11 July 1899, in Sullivan County, and they
had three sons. Beyond that, nothing except family stories. If anyone could
help with an obit, newspaper article or anything would be much appreciated.
Even help with mom, dad, sister or brother if he had or who they were.
Thanks
