DATE NAME SECTION ACRES HUNDREDS

John was brother of my Stephen W. Heavilin, of Harrison Co., Ohio, whose
grandson, George Sylvester also moved to Grant Co. in the early 1900's. I know
that John Jay Heavilin did not have any children by the name of Elijah. Nor,
did he have any brothers by that name. John Jay was born Feb. 4, 1805 in
Harrison County, OH, son of Samuel Heavlin/Hevlin and Mary LaPorte/Layport.
Samuel had a brother named Stephen, who was married to Mary's sister, Margaret.
There are family stories that Stephen and Samuel also had a brother named
John who came to Ohio with them, in the late 1700's, but we haven't been able to
locate any trace of John. I was wondering if this Elijah might be a son of
John?
thank you for any help you can give me on this.
