I was able to obtain a copy of some of the records that still exist for an
aunt of mine who was at this hospital in the early 1920's. I did have to
"prove" that I was related to the patient -- through marriage licenses and
such. But the process was not time consuming and I did glean some info
from
the records I was sent.
You can contact the Indiana State Archives at
arc(a)icprlan.state.in.us
to obtain photocopies of any records they might have for your GGM.
The Central State Hospital is located in Indianapolis, Marion County,
Indiana.
