I am a descendant of Henry Richards, who came to Grant County about
1832. He and his family setteled in the Jefferson Township area of
Grant Co.
I am attempting to document all the descendants of this Henry Richards.
My main sources, so far, have been (1) census data and (2) biographies
of several of these Richards.
I would like to obtain some marriage records - names and dates - to
continue this search.
I would like to obtain the name of the spouse and the marriage dates of
the following - the following are female descendants - As you all know,
female descendants are the most difficult to follow.
The names and approximate birth dates follow;
1. Richards, Eva Almeda - b abt 1873; died 1899 (May never have
married)
2. Nottingham, Mary - b abt 1898
3. Richards, Ada (or Adia) - b abt 1896
4. Dunn, Fannie - b abt 1892
5. Dunn, Lola - b abt 1898
6 Nelson, Neva (or Reva) - b abt 1894
7. Nelson, Bessie - b abt 1896
8. Nelson, Mary - b abt 1899
9. Richards, Olive C. - b abt 1878
10. Kirk, Mabel - b abt 1902
11. Kirk, Crystal - b abt 1911
12. Kirk, Annabel - b abt 1913
13. Richards, Ada - b abt 1901
14. Helm, Gladys Irene - b abt 1913
15. Wallace, Edna - b abt 1902
16. Wallace, Edith - b abt 1909
17. Richards, Fairy Belle - b abt 1905
18. Leach, Minnie - b abt 1887
19. Leach, Vinnie Fern - b abt 1890
20. Leach, Helen - b abt 1908
21. Harrison, Bessie - b abt 1887
22. Hoover, Mabel - b abt 1863
23. Richards, Ida - b abt 1886
24. Richards, Myrtle - b abt 1887
25. Richards, Fay - b abt 1897
26. Richards, Lucille - b abt 1905
Also, I would like some information on Martha Richards. She was a
daughter of John Richards (a son of the above Henry Richards). She
married, 1st, Jonathan Gregg (married 26 Sep, 1858, Grant Co).
According to a biography that I found, she was married a total of three
times - the last one was Philip Miller, they lived in Albany, Delaware
Co. She should have married Philip Miller shortly after 1900. Would
like the spouse name and dates of the second and third marriages.
I assume that these women were married in Grant County, however, they
may have married in Delaware County.
Any help would be appreciated. If anyone would like a e-mail of a
particular farmily, I would be glad to send it to you.
Thanks in advance.
