Hi and hope the following is of some help...
Go to the following county sites link (I've linked to the map version, so
you can see how the counties are related).

I would recommend checking out Grant County and Huntington Counties first.
Since Van Buren Twp is in northern Grant Co, they may be buried across the
county line. The Grant County site has a great cemetery index. Huntington
Co's is not as thorough; however, it will get you contact information for
the Huntington Library, which has hard copy of MANY cemetery interrments.
Also check Wabash county (if time permits). You may find something there
too. (?)
I can relate to having to prepare ahead of time for a genealogy trip. I'm
currently living in Wisconsin too! The staff at the Marion Public Library
and the Huntington Library are super to work with. Good luck in your
search!

I am looking for my gggrandfathers grave. He was Richard J. Crum, a Civil
War Vet. In 1850 he was in Grant Co., Van Buren Township with his wife and
children. His wife, Minerva died in about 1855. I think she may have been
buried in this area. Richard died 1864 at Fort Wayne and was probably
buried
with her and infant child. Can you tell me of the Cemetery's in this area
that they may be buried at. I am planing a trip to Indiana in June. I am
from Wisconsin. Thanks
