List Members,
I am new to your list, but in neeed of your assistance with my Baker genealogy.
I am seeking information on my g-uncle and his family. He was Wilson l. Baker, born during
1870 in Auglaize County, Ohio, the son of George W. Baker and Catherine (Winget) Baker. He
married Anna Elizabeth Parker in 1898 in Auglaize County, Ohio.
According to the 1920 U.S. Census, he and his family lived in Marion, Grant County,
Indiana. It appears that he died during 1937 in Marion, Indiana.
His children were:
1) Leona E. Baker, born 1893 in Ohio
2) Lawrence M. Baker, born 1894 in Ohio, died 1948.
3) Ruby Baker, born 1897
4) Eric M. Baker, born 1900 in Ohio
5) Genevive Baker, born 1902 in Indiana
The 1910 U.S. census, places Wilson in Center Township, Marion City, Indiana as a worker
in the oil fields as a driller. The 1920 census places him as a gas plant worker in
Marion. His son Lawrence is married, still in his parent's home, and working in a
truck plant.
I will appreciate any assistance I am offered.
Thank You,
Liz
