Converse
Ross Grindle of Denver Co., arrived in Converse Sat. for a visit with his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. John grindle, and other relatives.
H.H. Austin and wife of Culver, Ind., automobled to Converse Fri. and were the guests
of Mr. and Mrs. geo. Wilson. They returned to their home Sun., accompanied by Mrs. Anna
Banks.
Mrs. Olie Malott of North grove visited with her daughter, Mrs. Lewis Pence, Wed.
Mrs. D. L. Cowan and children of Uniontown, Pa., arrived in Converse Sat. to be guests
of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F.F. Lucas, and other relatives.
Mrs. Everett Larrison and children were guests of Mrs. george Wilson.
Mrs. Fred Shaw of Robinson, Ill., is guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. O.D. Hughes.
Miss Dorothy Reyburn is guest of her aunt, Mary Hamilton, of Waupecong.
Johnny Roby, rural Mail carrier made his first trip Mon. in his new automoble, which
he purchased for that purpose.
Word was received here Tuesday evening of the death of the six month old baby of Mr.
and Mrs. Clyde Hauck of Kokomo.
Mrs. Arthur Thompson and little son of Gas City are visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
John Peters.
Miss Martha Friermood will leave Sat. for a two weeks' visit with the families of
Rudolph and Charles Agnes of Royal Center, Ind.
Messars and Mesdames Lon McDonald and Harvey Bowman of Red Bridge were guests of Mr.
and Mrs. Ernest Ogborn and family Sunday.
Charles Moore of Logansport was guests of relatives Monday.
Mrs. Nat Moore, who has been visiting with relatives in Chicago, has returned home
accompanied by her nephew, Walter Moore, who will remain for a few weeks.
Will Webb and Miss Kate Woods was called to Kokomo Tues. on account of the death of
the little son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hauck.
Mrs. Harry Smith and children of Roanoke, Ind., are guests of Mrs. Smith's
parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Eward.
Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Rennaker and daughter Eva left Tues. for Cambridge Springs, pa.,
where mr. Renaker has gone in quest of health.
Ralph carey, youngest son of Otis Carey, and Eugene Druley are quite sick.
L.O. Arnold, wife and son Thomas, left Wed. night for a month's visit at
Connellsville and Uniontown, Pa.
Dean Meek, whose home is in Coshoeton, Ohio, and who has been spending his vacation at
Yellowstone park, WY. stopped off for a few days' visit on his return with his aunt
Mrs. R. Powell.
Mrs. Henry Powell left Thurs. for Chicago to visit her son, William Meek.
Mrs. Cyrus Neal returned Saturday to her home in Indianapolis after a week's stay
with her daughter, Mrs. A. E. Ross.
