Mrs. Anna Stinson, age 74, of Fairmount, is critically ill, with heart disease in Hoppes
Lying-in Hospital.
Fairmount Woman Dies in Hospital

FAIRMOUNT, April 15--Mrs Cynthia Anna Stinson, age 76, of here, died today at 10 p.m. in
Hoppes Lying-in Clinic, Anderson. She had been in a critical condition for several days.
The body was taken to the Polhemus and Shirey funeral home at Daleville and will be
removed to the family home Sunday evening. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m.
in the Fairmount Friends church with the Rev. John McCorkle officiating. Burial will be in
Zion cemetery near Matthews.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Cora Briles Swayzee, rural route one, and Mrs. Opal
Lawson, of Anderson rural route five; three sons, Clarence Stinson of Marion; Regina
Stinson of Sask., Canada, and Dale Stinson, of Anderson; sixteen grandchildren, eighteen
great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Joseph Ice, of Summitville, and several nephews
and nieces.
