I am looking for family of Mary E. Smith born around 1873 or 1874 in Tennessee and died in 1916 from TB. She had family in Indiana and lived here in 1910 ( Gas City) but we don't know for sure who the relatives were.

I am trying to prove the relationship between Jacob Osenbaugh and Cary
Osenbaugh. I believe Cary is Jacob's son but have had a hard time proving
it. I found funeral records where Cary Osenbaugh died in Dade Co, MO that
say Jacob was his father, and Lizzy Marshall his mother, and I know that
Jacob Osenbaugh married Elizabeth Marshall in 1856 in Grant County, but
have found nothing else to document it. Jacob Osenbaugh died on January
20, 1865. Not sure where, but I know he's buried in Shiloh Cemetery. I
have sent to Grant and Allen Counties for probate records but haven't
found anything for him. Cary Osenbaugh was born in 1861, and his dad died
before the 1870 census so I'm stuck to prove a relationship.
I also haven't found where Jacob's wife Elizabeth went to after her
husband died, she seems to have dropped off the face of the earth! I
haven't found her living with either of her sons.
Can anyone tell me if there may be any records around to help me in this?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Grant County,
All lists have roll call now and then. It's a great way to discover if
anyone else is researching your family.
Mind is NEAL (Mahlon, William, James and Eli). William helped write the
History of Grant County.
If anyone is researching this family I would like any information.
Thank you.
