I want to thank everyone who responded. Even though it has been many
years since I lived at home, I think I know where the place is. I have
some Crabtree/Goodwin ancestors who owned land in that area. And that
railroad track went in a northeasterly direction from Eville. It was the
same railroad that went a couple hundred feet or so from my house. We
moved outside Cynthiana from Eville in 1952 and I do remember the trains
using the tracks. But I think by 1960 the trains no longer used it. My
sister and I and the neighbor girl used to walk and explore on the tracks.
Today a parents wouldn't dare let their kids roam the outdoors like we would
do. Again thanks.
