Hi, Thanks for the info. My relatives are Elijah and Moses and William
Goodwin. My (Goodwin/Johnson/Crabtree) relatives were also the ones who
founded the Old Union Church in Johnson Twp, and later (because of a
dispute) broke off of Old Union and went to White Co, IL, and founded Seven
Mile Prairie Church. I was born in Evansville and moved outside of
Cynthiana when I was 10, and never knew my relatives had an impact on the
early history of Posey/Gibson Counties. I would love to know where these
old churches were located. And a suggestion for easier reading---I have
found if I format my letters in plain text, they go on a mailing list
without all the <<>>>> and extra wording you really don't need.
In
writing to a friend, I use the rich text because it is easier to read. But
mailing list, for some reason don't receive a rich text letter very well.
You can do this by going up to format and moving the black circle to plain
text. I am learning all these little ins and outs of e-mail--guess I am an
old dog leaning new tricks? (smile).
So, would like to exchange info with anyone on these old churches that
my relatives were affiliated with. Thanks. Helen Zuber Keusch
