Hi,
I had emailed for info on my elusive Elizabeth Mehringer Spindler and several of you
responded with suggestions. Well, I think I might be onto something. I just talked
to Father David Nunning in Evansville who is a genealogists and has lots of records on
many of the German families. He said Elizabeth died at age 96 from pneumonia. He had
no dates, or burial place. If she died at 96, that would be about 1890, so there may
be a death record on her in Gibson CO. Or even an obit since she was such an old
woman. Would anyone have access to death records in Gibson CO? I still haven't
located her in 1870 or 1880 in the censuses. Thanks so much.
