Helen Zuber Keusch wrote the original request for info on the maiden name of the 5
females; I (Judy M. jmurphy(a)erinet.com) wrote the answer with the census info and other
info showing I thought maiden name was Stone -- she later wrote back that this is the
family and their maiden name was indeed stone.
I am just curious about what you meant that the "email has changed" -- the
answer is above the original question, and since I usually get it in -d (digest) format I
get one message after another (l or the list format gives individual messages one at a
time.
I am wondering if you meant changed like this: Sometimes the messages change format
slightly due to different email programs (like what may have been on one line might move
to another line and continue on that line using what may have started on another line --
but the context of the messages is the same - example - on one machine the email may come
in like this:
born in IN. Four lived in Evansville and are listed with
Browning, and 4 are buried at Park Lawn in Evansville. Here is
what I know:
Margaret C. Broshears-- d. 5/2/1984; b. Oct 30, 1899
etc
and on another (such as my email program) it comes in like this:
born in IN. Four lived in Evansville and are listed with Browning,
and 4
are buried at Park Lawn in Evansville. Here is what I know:
>
> Margaret C. Broshears-- d. 5/2/1984; b. Oct 30, 1899

(I know I get infuriated when I get messages like this and have to "clean them
up" usually but that is the breaks of the game and using that particular server and
their email program).
I will glance around for your Scott family info, and if you need specifics (like census,
marriage, birth, death, etc) just let me know and I will search for that specific(s).
{I have info on most every family in the county, having researched this county for almost
50yrs and having done the webpages for move than 10yrs now -- my webpages are still on the
internet and accessible by anyone, just not affiliated with USGENWEB Project anymore:
http://www.usroots.com/~jmurphy/gibson/gibson.htm }
I will let you know what I find.

1. Does anyone have any info on a Scott family from Gibson Co. >IN in
the early 1800's who had an Elizabeth (who married Eli Knowles) >and a Nancy
(who married Burton Knoles)?
Seems to me that they could be sisters or cousins. I have no other >info on
them per se. Nancy was my husband's greatgrandmother.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
