Hi, I am trying to link some stray Harmons with Harmon clan of Gibson county. My
Land/Crabtree/ Johnson line married into the Harmons. I have the line of William Harmon
and Betsy Williams and this is the one where my lines fit. But I have uncovered another
branch-- I have a Martha "Patsy" Harmon, b. abt 1814 in IN and married Thomas
Waters, b. abt 1810 in IN (I think). The 1820 census of Posey show two Harmons--
William and a Samuel. I think this Patsy may belong to Samuel. The 1850 and 1860
census of Thomas and Patsy have a Nancy, b. 1778 in SC or VA. I am wondering if this
Nancy is the mother of Patsy and the wife of Samuel? And would this Samuel be a
brother to William Harmon, b. abt 1780 in NC? I don't find Samuel on the 1830 census
of Gibson or Posey Co. Thanks for any help you can give.
