Gerald,
Is there any chance they could be buried in Lucas Cemetery on the South
edge of Owensville? The only stone we could find there is the stone of
Fielding and Margaret Lucas, but we have been told there are several graves
there and at one time were several more gravestones. We have been unable
to locate any listing for that cemetery and plan on cleaning up the dead
trees and underbrush this winter to see if more gravestones can be
located. We also suspect that Francis Lucas, father of Fielding is buried
there.

Hi List,
Family records show death dates of Oct 21 1880 for Volney E. Lucas, and
Jan 14 1877 for his wife Mary Elizabeth (Spore) Lucas, supposedly coming
from the Bible of Noah Lucas, their son. Where are they buried? Volney
is in the 1880 census in Montgomery Twp. of Gibson Co, with seven
children. Would like to verify the death dates.
