Helen & Others,
That varies widely for the different e-mail programs. I use Eudora mail,
and have a button called "blah, blah, blah" That expands the headers. Some
programs have "View Message Source" that you can click on.
In Outlook 4 & 5:
With the mouse:
1.Click the "File" menu
2.Click "Properties"
3.Click the "Details" tab
4.Click "Message Source"
Microsoft Outlook 97 may require an update called the Internet Mail
Enhancement Patch in order to display the email headers AT ALL. Get it here:
http://officeupdate.microsoft.com/downloadDetails/outlimep.htm
For your specific e-mail program, you can find the instructions here:
http://spamcop.net/fom-serve/cache/19.html
What is the difference in the headers? Ok, this is a short header:

Thanks for the warning--- can you tell us dumbies (old gray-haired

might be a kinder description--hehe) how to expand the e-mail header? Put
it on the list so all can see--- I was hit again yesterday and have been
going into properties to find the numbers and addresses of where it is
coming from and sending the info to my server technician. He then traces
the numbers to the server and contacts them. Maybe I am expanding my
e-mail header and don't know it? Thanks. Helen Zuber Keusch
